Recent international events show how fragile and interconnected the energy system is, directly affecting prices and daily life. The climate crisis reminds us that the way we produce and consume energy impacts the planet.
These themes were central to Together in Action 2026, the annual EU Climate Pact event held in Brussels, which brought together citizens, experts, and policymakers to explore practical, collaborative solutions.
Our Partner University for SDGs took part in this dynamic gathering, engaging in inspiring exchanges with ambassadors, partners, and decision-makers from across Europe – all united by a shared goal: accelerating climate action through active citizen and community engagement.
The panel “EU climate diplomacy in a changing world” highlighted how climate change is reshaping international relations and global energy choices, influencing security, prices, and stability
The session “Citizens at the heart of climate preparedness and resilience” emphasized that the transition cannot happen without the active involvement of people while stories from initiatives such as the World Cleanup Day showed how everyday actions can scale up and drive systemic change.
As clearly highlighted, the energy transition is not only a technological or political challenge: it also depends on everyday behaviours and individual choices and this is exactly the direction taken by our project.
